FADIA TOMB EL-HAGE

Fadia Tomb El-Hage is one of the very few professional singers to combine the Eastern and Western vocal techniques. After spending her adolescence in Lebanon as a soloist in many productions by the Rahbani brothers, she undergoes sophisticated studies in classical singing at the Richard-Strauss State conservatory of Munich - Germany obtaining her highest diploma in opera singing and puts the finishing touches to her studies through a two-year specialization in oratorio chant. Fadia Tomb El-Hage’s musical repertoire extends from medieval to contemporary music. She sang on the most prestigious theatre stages in the world. Her singular voice and timbre aroused the interest of the international press that abundantly described her expressivity, her passion, her charisma and her mastering of her art. Her rich discography encompasses recordings of old music mainly with “Sarband” ensemble as well as world creations of contemporary music. The projects of Fadia Tomb El-Hage will be centered on the cultural bonds East-West thus exploring the multiple facets of the two worlds.
